Classic Vacuum Tubes. Your Sound, Your Choice.

The HDA-1 uses commonly available vacuum-tube types, including EH6922 × 2 and 6N6 × 1, allowing compatible tubes from different manufacturers and selected equivalent models to be substituted.

This gives enthusiasts the opportunity to explore tube rolling — experimenting with different compatible tubes to subtly tailor tonal character, texture and presentation to personal taste.

It is not simply an amplifier; it is a platform for discovering the character of tube audio.

Dedicated Single-Ended Amplification

At the heart of the HDA-1 is a dedicated single-ended amplification circuit, selected for its simplicity and direct signal path.

The HDA-1 employs an output-transformer design with three selectable impedance ranges, allowing the amplifier to work more effectively with headphones of different electrical characteristics.

Selectable impedance matching covers:

8–32Ω / 32–160Ω / 600Ω

With headphone output power of up to:

• 1,400mW + 1,400mW @ 16Ω

• 1,200mW + 1,200mW @ 32Ω

• 1,100mW + 1,100mW @ 600Ω

This gives the HDA-1 substantial driving capability across a wide range of headphones, from lower-impedance models to demanding high-impedance audiophile designs.

Carefully Selected Output Transformers

The output transformers use Z11 transformer cores and a carefully implemented winding structure.

Transformers are also selected and paired according to closely matched electrical parameters, helping maintain consistent performance between the left and right channels.

The objective is simple: better channel balance, greater coherence and a more stable stereo presentation.
